Course Objective

Upon successful completion of the course, the student would be able to:

  • Identify all kitchen tools and demonstrate safe practices operation machinery in the kitchen

Course Composition

This course is designed to provide students with extensive knowledge on the Hotel Industry, within the kitchen, front office, housekeeping, F&B production and F&B service operations, sales and marketing, French and Business communication.

Internship: Internship would be for duration of 6 months in a hotel or a resort. This part of the course bridges the gap between theoretical input and the real working environment.

The total course duration is 12 months which involves 6 months of theory and practical's followed by 6 months of industrial exposure.

Eligibility for the candidates :

12th Pass. with 50% scored can apply for General Candidates

12th Pass. with 45% scored can apply for OBC/SC/ST/Defense and Girls

Documents Required at the time of Admission : Application form must be accompanied with :

  1. 8 Passport size photograph
  2. Attested photocopy of proof of age.
  3. Attested photocopy of proof of educational qualification/ mark sheets.
  4. Fitness certificate from a registered MBBS doctor on the attached form.
  5. Character certificate from the head of the institution (school/college) last attended.
  6. Attested photocopy of Reserved Category Certificate from appropriate authority, if applicable.
  7. A certificate of bonafide domicile of native place, if applicable, + check position in line in both short courses During the interview the candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their communication skills with particular reference to the English language, general awareness, personal grooming, the overall personality and the candidate's suitability for the hospitality industry.

Admission

Selection is based on the combined merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination, a personal interview conducted by the Selection Committee at the Institute on the date stipulated by the Committee.

Admission fee Rs. 10000/- and semester fee will be in installments

Selection: The selection list will be displayed on Notice Board of the Institute on the same or next day of the interview. NO SEPARATE INTIMATION WILL BE SENT TO THE CANDIDATES. Selected candidates are required to pay the first term fees as shown in the Fee Structure on the day the result is declared. Failing immediate payment of fees, the offer of admission will be withdrawn and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list. The candidate whose admission has thus been cancelled will have no claim whatsoever to admission at a later time.

Hostel fee

Hostel fee per month Rs. 7000/- (Semester Fee: 42000/-) 6 month hostel fee should be deposited in advance.

  • Examination fee does not include in Semester Fee.
  • The fee should be paid either by cash, demand draft, Online/ NEFT/Net-banking
  • The other fee include tuition fee, F&B Practical , Food Production Practical, Computer, games & Sports , Development and Industrial exposure.
  • Receipt of all fee paid must be obtained from the office by payee
  • Fee should be strictly deposited with in the time specified, to avoid any late fee
